Activities in 2019

Summary: developed verification systems for silver ingots, integrating hardware with National Instruments vision and LabVIEW. Established WiFi testers for DSL modem repair, incorporating RF test probes and TestStand. Integrated measurement instruments for cosmetology clinical analysis. Created electronic card testers for coffee machines and supported GPON fiber modem production with TestStand.

The year 2019 was a dynamic period of innovation and technological advancement. Our team focused on developing sophisticated systems and solutions that enhanced quality control, testing, and production efficiency. We integrated state-of-the-art hardware and software to verify the authenticity of silver ingots, and we revolutionized the repair process for DSL modems with advanced WiFi testing capabilities.

Our commitment to precision and excellence led us to integrate measurement instruments for cosmetology, ensuring the highest standards in clinical skin analysis. We also tailored electronic card testers for coffee machines, demonstrating our versatility and customer-centric approach. Additionally, we bolstered the production line of GPON fiber modems with robust testing support, underpinning our dedication to delivering reliable and cutting-edge solutions. Each project in 2019 was a step towards redefining industry benchmarks and reinforcing our leadership in the field:

  • Metallurgy - Verification of identification engraving on silver ingots: hardware integration and development of a verification system for identifiers engraved on 30 kg silver ingots in a foundry. This tester is based on National Instruments vision for cameras and LabVIEW communicating with PLCs.
  • Consumer Electronics and Telecommunications - WiFi tester for DSL modem repair center: hardware integration and software development for testing modem PCBA cards under repair, with SMA cables, RF test probes, vector generator / analyzer, and TestStand.
  • Life Sciences and Healthcare Technology - Integration of measurement instruments for clinical skin analysis for cosmetology based on LabVIEW.
  • Consumer Electronics and Telecommunications - Electronic card tester for coffee machine: development of the test sequencer and instruments drivers for integration with a test bench manufactured by the customer. The solution is based on LabVIEW and TestStand.
  • Consumer Electronics and Telecommunications - Support GPON fiber modem production line testers based on National Instruments TestStand

Activities in 2018

Summary: developed sulfur analysis software for silver processing and gas quality testers for the food/medical industry using LabVIEW. Conducted I2S testing for smart speakers and provided customized training at CERN. Created test benches for DSL, DOCSIS, and GPON modems, supporting high-volume production and firmware customization. Enhanced electrical motor testing with LabVIEW.

The year 2018 was a testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation, as we developed cutting-edge solutions for measurement, testing, and production traceability. Our efforts spanned across the USA, France, Brazil, Spain, and Mexico, catering to a diverse clientele with precision and expertise.

Our major activities for the year included crafting sophisticated analysis software for Peñoles’ silver sulfur process, deploying gas quality testers for the food and medical industry with Messer Ibérica, and enhancing smart speaker functionality with I2S testing. We also provided customized training at CERN, developed test benches for various types of residential gateways, and shared our global experiences at a conference in Mexico. Additionally, we advanced the field of electrical motor testing, further solidifying our position as leaders in technological development.:

  • Metallurgy - Analysis software of sulfur in silver process, it is composed of 2 parts: the recorder software communicates with an oven where a sample is inserted, the data are saved in a database, then a client software, on the network, connect to the server to extract the required to analyse. It is used to follow the quality of the production process. This solution was developed with LabVIEW for Peñoles.
  • Oil and Gas Industry - Gas quality tester for food and medical industry, based on Emerson analyzers and National Instruments hardware with LabVIEW. Solution developed for Messer Ibérica.
  • Consumer Electronics and Telecommunications - I2S test for smart speakers, acquisition signal analysis and test of the digital I2S signals with National Instruments acquisition hardware and LabVIEW for integration under TestStand and LabWindows/CVI.
  • Scientific Research and Development - Customized training at the CERN for the development of electronic hardware and validation under TestStand with LabWindows/CVI and Python.
  • Consumer Electronics and Telecommunications - Test of residential gateways (modem) DSL, cable (DOCSIS) and fiber (GPON), test bench development for functional validation of WiFi 2.4G and 5G ac, downstream/upstream throughput, customization like MAC address, etc, ISP firmware download with a capacity of 1500 units a shift, technical support for production debug and to increase the volume.
  • Conference about my activities and experience in a globalized word (digital nomad?) from Mexico at the faculty of engineering, science and architecture of the Juarez University of the State of Durango in Mexico, invited by the postgraduate degree director Luis Oscar Guereca.
  • Aerospace & Defense - Electrical motor test, development of a test sequencer and instruments drivers for the validation of motors with LabVIEW and compact DAQ.

Conference "LabVIEW Embedded Systems for variables monitoring "

Summary: AJOLLY Testing’s recent conference showcased our cutting-edge remote monitoring solutions using National Instruments’ LabVIEW. We demonstrated the power of LabVIEW embedded systems through a live cross-continental interaction, controlling a cooling system in Paris from Mexico. Our session covered the essentials of control, monitoring, and testing, and featured a detailed look at our Paris system’s hardware and software. We also introduced LabVIEW’s capabilities, including shared variables and web server functions, emphasizing our commitment to innovation in industrial and scientific systems. Join us on our blog for insights into our advanced telematics engineering solutions.

Adrien Jolly - (c) François Orsero It was a pleasure to give a conference about industrial and scientific systems of National Instruments during the international conferences in telematics engineering at the Polytechnic University of Durango, Mexico. During one hour I developed the theme of "LabVIEW Embedded systems for the variables monitoring": definition of what are the control, monitoring, simulation, test and measurement, a demonstration of programming with LabVIEW, a live video with my client at the Raspail Institute of Paris in France, to describe a cooling system using components from National Instruments and an embedded LabVIEW software I developed, to demonstrate the capabilities of remote control of the machine installed in Paris from Mexico.
