Activities in 2012

Summary test benches for residential gateway production. Our expertise includes Litepoint, TestStand, and LabWindows/CVI. We install production lines, optimize testing procedures to reduce cycle time, and increase capacity. Additionally, we provide NPI support and offer both traveling and remote support for issue identification, pre-correction, and optimization analysis. Our training services cover LabVIEW, TestStand, and LabWindows/CVI. Furthermore, we’ve developed a measurement system for the cosmetic industry using LabVIEW. Lastly, we validate communication protocols for PLC production.

As AJOLLY testing company, we found the projects in 2012 to be incredibly stimulating. Despite the extensive travel, covering 160,000 km by plane to visit our clients, the time spent was invaluable. We dedicated a week here, three weeks there, and two weeks in another city, totaling six months of business trips. These journeys were not just about sharing techniques but also about fostering friendships, as we believe that behind every technique, there’s a human connection.

This year, we reveled in the opportunity to share our collective experience, going above and beyond our expertise to provide the best support to our clients facing challenges. We focused on enhancing both software and hardware processes and meticulously analyzed procedures to recommend effective solutions. Our ability to communicate in four languages—English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish—in a single session enriched our meeting sessions, allowing us to share our experiences more broadly.

Summary of 2012:
  • Consumer Electronics and Telecommunications - test bench development for residential gateways production:
    • Conducting WiFi testing and calibration along with functional DSL test, phone (FXS), USB, and WiFi radio tests to check the antennas, is crucial for ensuring device quality and performance. Additionally, Ethernet connectivity tests and data customization, including SSID, password, MAC addresses, and serial numbers, are critical procedures preceding the final quality test, ensuring that each unit is ready to meet the specific needs of the end-users.

Activities in 2009

Summary: We’ve optimized GPIB communications on a synchrotron through C++ programming on Linux and JAVA, showcasing our commitment to precision and technical knowledge sharing. Our conference on software migration highlighted our technical leadership, reflecting our dedication to innovation and excellence in the field.

In 2009, AJOLLY Testing fortified its prowess in testing and measurement, making significant strides in software development and complex system analysis. Our comparative study on test bench software development for production highlighted our proficiency in technologies like LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and Visual Studio .NET C# with Measurement Studio. Furthermore, our analytical work on a third-generation synchrotron showcased our ability to optimize GPIB communications, thanks to our expertise in C++ programming on Linux and JAVA instrument server development. These initiatives reflect our commitment to precision and efficiency, while emphasizing the importance of sharing our knowledge with the technical community.

  • Consumer Electronics and Telecommunications - Comparative Technical and Financial Study on Test Bench Software Development: In our collaboration with Alcatel-Lucent, we conducted an in-depth comparative technical and financial study on the development of test bench software for production. This project involved the use of LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and Visual Studio .NET C# with Measurement Studio. We concluded this project with an informative conference, presenting migration examples to Alcatel-Lucent’s technical experts and leaders.
    • Techniques Utilized: LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Visual Studio .NET C# with Measurement Studio.
  • Scientific Research and Development - Analysis of Measurement Losses on a Third-Generation Synchrotron: Our team undertook a detailed analysis of measurement losses on a third-generation synchrotron, leading to a significant optimization of GPIB communications on both hardware and software levels. This task required specialized expertise in C++ programming on Linux and JAVA instrument server development.
    • Techniques Utilized: C++ on Linux, JAVA instrument server, GPIB.
