Summary: developed a LabVIEW-based measuring instrument for magnesium quality testing, with 22-micron accuracy and database integration. Provided technical support for DSL home gateway EOL testers using TestStand. Enhanced skin clinical study software with new features. Created fuse block inspection benches for trucks, utilizing LabVIEW Vision.
In 2016, our team dedicated itself to a suite of key projects that showcased our commitment to precision, innovation, and technical excellence. We developed a LabVIEW and Vision-based measuring instrument for magnesium quality testing in Mexico, achieving an impressive 22-micron accuracy. In Brazil, we provided crucial technical support for DSL home gateway functional testers, enhancing end-of-line efficiency.
- Metallurgy - Measuring instrument for quality test of the magnesium (PeƱoles): hardware and software development of a measuring instrument used in the laboratory for magnesium extraction. The instrument identifies the impurity particles present in a beaker and shows the distribution of these particles by size. The accuracy is 22 microns. The software generates reports and stores measurements in a database.
- Technique: LabVIEW and Vision
- Location: Mexico
- Consumer Electronics and Telecommunications - functional testers for DSL home gateway (Sagemcom, Jabil): technical support on the end of line testers (EOL).
- Technique: TestStand and LabWindows/CVI
- Location: Manaus, Brazil
- Life Sciences and Healthcare Technology - measuring software for clinical study of the skin: it is a software initiated in 2010 for which we regularly add tools and features. This year it was the turn of the new features (new analysis report format, optimization ...).
- Technique: LabVIEW
- Location: France
- Automotive Manufacturing - fuse block inspection bench for truck (Freightliner): development of two test benches for a new truck model. The tester obtains the list of components and their location from the database, then displays the fuse block map so that the operator can insert them into the block. Subsequently, a vision test is conducted to validate that all fuses and relays are properly inserted in the correct place.
